One of Pokemon GO’s normal types with access to Ghost, Dark, and Fighting attacks, Seviper, is a perfect counter to Ghost types in the Great and Ultra Leagues. Its pure Normal typing makes Zangoose extremely resistant to Ghost element attacks. Also, it has a larger stat total in Pokemon GO, allowing it to reach the Ultra League with significantly more numbers. Zangoose is best suited to go up against Registeel and Giratina, two Legendary Pokemon viciously dominating the Ultra League. However, some players, depending on shields, might find Zangoose a little fragile. But with decent resistance to Giratina’s Ghost-type moves, combined with Shadow Claw as a fast attack, it can last much longer in this matchup.
